Mainstream News Incites Violence

The protest today was a huge statement made by the American people, but as there was no violence - no mainstream coverage. I asked in a earlier, but dead thread, "If a protest happens in New York and the mainstream news doesn't cover it, did it really make a noise?"

1. Good point....

People say "Oh, there should never be any violence" but of course it's the violence that gets coverage.

I protested Bush's inauguration in D.C. Believe me, there were MAJOR protests--he had to get in his limo and drive really fast through the thousands of us who started boo'ing (he was a coward even then).

But did you see that on the news? No.

3. I didn't see any of that until Fahrenheit 9/11, but I remember God

raining on his parade. It was an omen the news couldn't block out.

And so most of the supporters went home. ;-)
