I'm so proud of the city of my birth. I've never hearted NY more than at this moment. I'm so sorry I couldn't get there. It wasn't the distance. I'm close. It was unexpected circumstances. Thank you to CSPAN, too, for giving us a chance to see it.

12. They really did cheer me up
It was great to see all these people come out and speak against Bush. It was a very diverse group that too.

:toast: to them.

I hope for everyone's sake that we are successful in Nov.

13. Thank you and please
continue throughout the week. It really helps our cause to show passionate, peaceful, enormous protests to the rest of the nation. And, despite the hand-wringers, (some on this board), you have every right to do what you did. I always had faith in you. If there's any trouble, it will probably be caused by right wing infiltrators. Wonderful job, people. The caskets, especially, were very touching and dignified.

14. They are doing an excellent job
I'll get flamed for this but I have to say it anyway...

I was so impressed today to see that the protesters seemed to be so UNITED on the topic of one thing getting bush the hell out of office.

It isn't that I rate other social causes as unimportant, but I just think this particular protest is not the time for a convoluted message covering a bunch of assorted topics and interests.

Thanks to all who are out there for those of us that couldn't be!
