1) My husband works with a bunch of Republicans and their take on Palin was she is inexperienced and the press is eating her alive, but and I quote "that's politics and if she can't take it, she shouldn't be in it." They think she is a joke.
woo hoo!!! so we're not evil sexists in the eyes of the world (as the McPain camp whined), just because we asked for qualifications.
2) I just came from my volunteer meeting for Obama Campaign and Barack Obama himself called our team leader to say thank you for the work we've been doing -- How cool is that! That man knows how to motivate people!!
That's it from this red state - there's more good news, but we're not supposed to discuss it, so I'm just bursting with pride and hope you trust me when I say it's GOOD:-)
Anyone who has any time to volunteer, I hope to encourage you by saying I feel truly honored right now to have done even the smallest bit towards this history making event:-) I have met a lot of wonderful people who I expect will be lifelong friends. I also got some cool stuff from the convention because someone brought things back for us. I'm sending mine to my grandfather, a lifelong Dem who has worked his whole life for this party.
Cheers everyone. ROCK ON GOBAMA!!!

we're not supposed to talk about it online....suffice it to say, I feel great about Nov! And of course, if you pm me I can get into more detail. It's not any huge thing like breaking news- it's just small successes in unlikely places:-)

5. Friend of mine who voted for Bush twice sent me this... |
|
I had sent her an email with some info about Palin in it, including the stuff about Todd Palin insisting that she fly home from Texas to have her baby.
>>My personal opinion is that McCain has made a huge goof. I think the media is going to have a field day with it. I think that many previous supporters will rethink their decision. For me...I put a lot of thought into the spouse of the candidate because they have the intimate discussions in private and I don't want a swaying voice to come from someone I don't like for that position. AND the VP needs to be appropriate. I think it will play out unfavorably for McC. B.<<

The Team Obama has run the tightest campaign in living memory, and, no doubt, would like to keep it that way.

10. yes, he is running a tight campaign and it's amazing. |
|
he's doing such a GREAT job.
I'm not about to talk online about it, don't worry! But I do want people to know that we have things to feel good about, too. To build morale and confidence.
