filled with anxiety nightmares about her speech. I hope she stumbles on her way to the platform. I hope her voice quavers. I hope she fucks up in every conceivable way tonight.

And don't bother telling me I'm being mean and petty. I'm fully cognizant of that.

She will simply go up there and read, word for word, a preprepared speech - something she did as a sports newscaster.

It will have plently of those pathetic republican applause lines.

The zombies in attendence are going to cheer a lot.

The MSM will roll out their usual cast of right wing "strategists" who will do their usual hyperbolic histrionics in breathlessly saying it was the most impressive first timer speech in history.

The MSM whores will be pushed in the direction the right wing wants by their legion of hack strategists, and the MSM whores will say, "well she passed her first big test with FLYING colors and is WELL on her way to proving to the country that she can do the job."

and I have a sneaking suspicion that she really is going to knock their socks off tonight.

Though I will not give her credit for ANYTHING else, Sarah Palin is no shrinking violet. She is a BELIEVER. A passionate one, even. She BELIEVES that this is her destiny. She is already writing "Madam Vice President" with little hearts all around it on her notebook. She wants this and she has a history of getting what she wants. While I don't think this is going to go as well for her as she anticipates, I think SHE thinks she has it in the bag.

If her voice quavers, it will be for effect.
