Why the worry here?? Would you rather be in the GOP shoes?? |
|
We are leading in the polls. We have been leading almost every week.
We are raising more money than any candidate in history!
We have more people at the acceptance speech than ever. And more ratings!
We are going to kick butt in the debates. Easily!
And would you really rather have a Palin type person as our VP candidate or Biden?
People here worry and panic too much! I guarantee the GOP is worried about Obama/Biden! They are on the defensive not us.
People, please WOFRK HARD for this election. DOnate, register voters, make phone calls, anything!!!
Things are looking GREAT for us at this point! And Obama/Biden have not really started campaigning until next week!
This is ours to lose at this point! Lets not slow down!

1. for me its not worry so much |
|
its because its republican party week...and the media feels bad for them ..they had to cancel a day of it..so everything has stalled...I for one am ready to start smacking republicans around...time to get into the meat of it!..sigh..but that ain't going to happen till the the convention mess is over.

2. Some people here think the GOP is all powerful |
|
It's like Stockholm Syndrome or something. I don't get it.
It's best to ignore the Chicken Littles. They enjoy being the victim of some massive plot, since it gives their lives meaning.

3. I hope your are correct |
|
I just keep having flashbacks, 2000 and 2004. This time it is even more critical than the last. If we don't regain control it is curtains for this nation as a democracy.

6. I believe the concern stems from two stolen elections... |
|
... And a nuclear-armed nation teetering on the brink of fascist oligarchy.
We don't have to merely win; we have to kick the ever lovin' crap out of them so big that their ability to steal 8-15% of the vote is negated.
We have to do it against autocrats who have not hesitated to resort to lies, character assassination, election theft, preferential hiring, false imprisonment, treason, torture, and murder to get their way.
The rule of law means nothing to the Republican Party and the people who control them. They respond only to fear and display of power.
Fortunately, the power they fear most is the American people, so we have a chance.
