Why doesnt some one say...reguarding Obama vs Palin qualifications... |
|
Obama was vetted for 18 months by the American people and chosen over Clinton, Biden, Dodd, etc....while Palin was thrown in our laps...she was not chosen by the American people.

2. Bottom line is: Bush was the governor of Texas, a huge state. Plus, |
|
he had an MBA -- a management degree. And he actually owned a business or two (albeit using family money).
And NONE of that executive experience made him good at the job of President.
Obama, on the other hand, has the background, the brains and the temperament to make a great President.

But it goes beyond that:
Barack Obama has debated foreign policy in numerous debates. He's made multiple trips overseas and has met with various foreign leaders, some of whom Sarah Palin probably has never heard of until her current crash course. He's been chairman or a member of several Senate committees or subcommittees that deal with foreign policy and homeland security. He's sponsored numerous pieces of substantial legislation in the US Congress, unusual for a young, junior Senator, and sponsored a number of substantial pieces of legislation during his two terms as an Illinois state congressman.
Not to mention that Barack Obama graduated from Harvard Law School and became the first African American editor in chief of the Harvard Law Review.
It's ludicrous to even compare the experience, judgment, temperament, and intelligence of Barack Obama and Sarah Palin. In fact, I'm confident Michelle Obama is more prepared to assume the presidency than Sarah Palin. But that's what Republicans do; they live in their own world in which they actually believe what they say.
If the GOP is so confident regarding Palin's qualifications regarding foreign policy, or national domestic policy for that matter, they'd be making her available for interviews and lining up weekend talk show spots. I'm wagering that the GOP does not chance putting Palin on any weekend shows this weekend (as the Democratic Party was happy to do with Joe Biden) because they know she's unprepared.
