Ben Stein: "The pick of Palin is the most peculiar choice for Vice President in history" |
|
Just now on CNN Stein was interviewed in a hillarious piece.
He basically called it the worst choice McCain could make from a strategic point of view. He said "listen I am probably the only guy ever to appear on CNN who supports 'intelliegent design' and this pick doesn't make any sense to me. She supports all of the backward values that everyone east of the Mississippi think belongs in trailer parks. Don't get me wrong I like those values."
He went on to say that it eliminated all of McCain's strong suits: maturity, cool under pressure, foreign policy, and experience.
He did say that they need to spend a lot of time with her to "bring her up to speed".

Check out 'expelled', though don't blame me if it causes your IQ to temporarily deteriorate.

5. It so didn't make big $ |
|
It disappeared from theaters after 2 weeks, despite a heavy marketing campaign, and most of what it did make was from fundie megachurches buying blocks of tickets to give away free to people.

10. Yeah, but they'll get it back on the DVD sales. |
|
I've been working on a documentary proposal myself this summer, so I've been doing a lot of financial analysis. It doesn't matter that the theatrical release was lousy; for most films, the theatrical release is just an extended ad for the DVD - especially so with documentaries.
