By her snide speech, Palin opened up that she's tough, so...let's play ball, Sarah |
|
People are worried that Biden shouldn't overstep or whatever... Palin walked in the Arena and threw cheap shots and underhanded comments at Obama and Biden.
If I were Palin, learning to duck political fire from all directions might be the first class to take... it's too late for foreign policy classes.
All Biden has to do is acknowledge her for being a woman VP, but then ask her sardonically if it's OK to actually talk the issues. Maybe even have a box of Kleenex to offer her...

where he can take her on just as he would a man (otherwise it's sexist, right? And why shouldn't he, this is the Vice Presidency for crying out loud), and still gracefully whomp her.

6. I could see Biden say this... |
|
"I'm going to point out something I have a problem with regarding ________ and want to make sure you don't call me a sexist for wanting to engage in a discussion for a position that's a heartbeat away from being President. Are you ready?"
Sure, some whiners would squeal like little pigs, but this is the BIG ARENA... if she wants to act like it's for some gig in Wassila, then perhaps this is out of her league.

7. Someone needs to play ball with this woman.... |
|
and cool her jets. I thought she came off as cheap and pushy. She didn't even want to share the stage with McSame or acknowledge him when he approached? What do they say about professional sports jocks who read too many of their own press releases and start to believe them? Watch out for that 1st step Sarah... it's a long way down...

...she really kept her distance from him in a way I found kind of interesting. I mean, this guy just offered you your "dream job" if you're an ambitious person, and you sort of stand apart from him? I really found her behavior sort of odd.

11. Bullshit! Biden Must Take the Gloves Off! Treating Her With Anything |
|
Less than what any male candidate would do with another political opponent is the ultimate in sexism! Ok, lets allow full access for women into the corporate exec jobs and all top political and military leadership positions. I have always as now an older white male been in favor of no limits for women. So, when a woman steps into the political ring she should relish the opportunity to duke it out with whoever the opponent is. And the opponent, especially if he is a man, should not consider that the person opposite him is a woman and therefore threat her with velvet gloves as to not offend people that he is being hard on a woman. That is the ultimate sexist bullshit!
Go beat the shit out of your opponent Joe! This is like your mother, Joe, telling you that the neighborhood bully punched you in the face and now you have to go out there and hit her back with a knock out blow in order to be able to walk tall and proud in your neighborhod! Don't pull punches Joe!
I had the same experience as Joe as a seventh grader when my friend hit me hard one day playing football and I went in the row house where we lived just outside Philly and whined about it to my ironworker father. He told me to go out the next morning on the way to Catholic school and go up to my friend and hit him hard in the face. I did and it shocked all the other tough little Irish and Italian kids in the neighborhood that I did that being a smaller skinny "nice" kid. From then on nobody messed with me!
