Palin Speech. Underwhelming!
While the media is gushing over how "fantastic" her speech was, presenting herself as a fighter, I took the position most independents took. She didn't say anything we didn't expect her to say and how she said it may have been articulate but underwhelming.

It's obvious the media wants this to be a horse race. Vet her ad-nauseum, poking holes into her life as a build up to her speech so that they can say, "WOW, she hit it out of the park". We get the media. They think we're dumb. They presume people don't read blogs.

Palin did little more than present red meat to her base. The rest of America though, the media looks loony for their assessment.

Palin failed her test to talk to "ALL" Americans. No talk of the economy. It was a bash Obama fest filled with lies and that's about it. I expected much more substance.

The Republicans have really stepped "in" it with the Palin pick and they're trying very hard to recover. So wonder Republicans are called conservative. They don't believe in change... They still believe "politics" as a game trumps what every day Americans are going through. They believe you will follow them like their base of support.

NOT.

Noonan got it right. "This won't work".
