My wife was so revolted by Palin's speech that she asked me to give more $$ to Obama. |

You'd have to know my wife to know how much it takes to get her this wound up. She gives just about everyone the benefit of the doubt, but she HATED Palin. And so did the two female coworkers she talked to about it today.
This just proves how stupid the Republicans are. They are so clueless that they mistook Hillary's success for her gender. They just don't get it.
(Yes, we did it through the link here to help DU reach its goal.)

condescending and full of herself, and she did not at all like the belittling of people who work to make their communities better.

Falling in line with this election's Republican party strategy, Sarah Palin chose her minutes in the spotlight at Wednesday night's RNC to slam her political rivals rather than elaborate on how the GOP plans to address the issues that are upper-mind to most Americans -- the economy, our dependence on the oil sold to us by our sworn enemies, and the war in Iraq. Particularly galling were Palin’s satiric remarks about Barack Obama's community service on the south side of Chicago. Let me tell you, "Bloody Sarah" -- from someone who has volunteered hours of his time to teach reading and writing to disadvantaged adults, and who really is an average American and not the extreme-Right political machine's fabrication of one -- any citizen who selflessly works hard to improve the well-being of himself and his neighbors through community service is doing far more for the good of his or her country than you are with your hateful, hypocritical, and divisive rhetoric that serves only to distance us all from the truth we so need to hear. Go back to Alaska -- if they'll have you -- and beg her citizens for forgiveness. Leave the governing of America to real Americans.

8. When I walked into my office this AM, my assistant and I started |
|
screaming at each other (not angry at each other, but at HER) the second I walked in the door. And I am glad no clients were here because the language was f---in' unprintable, lol. We were just ranting and raving about her entire damned speech.
And you have to understand that my assistant, while extremely liberal, is normally politically passive and uninvolved. And until McCain picked Palin, she was. But this srrogant BITCH has got her (and me) worked up into a lather. And her best friend, who has never voted before, is mad enough to go postal and plans to register to vote and basically become a Democratic activist.
Ahhhh, Sarah: the gift that keeps on giving.
