I don't know about you but I'm sick of hearing of McCain referred to as a "hero" |

It seems to me that the media throws the "hero" word around loosely. To me, and I'm a little old fashioned, but I consider a hero the firefighter who saves a baby from a burning building or the person who jumps into a body of water to save somebody who is drowning or a person of science who develops a cure to some devastating disease (Sauk was a hero, to me). John McCain was a pilot who got shot down and spent five years as a pow. That's sad but it's also one of the consequences of war. I don't see anything particularly heroic about it--and I know it's probably blaspheme to say it.

2. What's really sad is that he knows the consequences of war, yet he thinks nothing of attacking... |

...innocent countries and putting our troops in harms way for oil.
The man is garbage in my book.
