1. Nice; Gergin and Toobin are the only pundits I take remotely seriously

8. I have come to think Gergen is among the best
He has a lot of insight and seems to give honest opinions no matter where the chips may fall and he does it as a gentlemen.

2. I liked the speech....
...except that I don't trust Republicans to do what they say.

5. I was waiting for someone to finally say it!
And Anderson Cooper just agreed. Thank you, thank you, for telling it like it is. I thought from an objective point of view it was very poorly delivered. Huckabee and Palin were way better even if I disagreed with the content. I'm tired of having a President who can't deliver a speech.

13. Yeah, I gave it a B on content (not that I liked it; but from a RW angle) ...
.... but a D on delivery. He was so droning that it put you to sleep; and even when you tried to stick with it, his inflections and flow were so random that it was tough to follow.

6. After McInsane cancelled on Larry King, I've noticed that some CNN pundits are more critical
Anderson Cooper: "Did the campaign send all the speechwriters to Palin's room and leave McCain on his own?"

really hope people listened to what Mccain said and were turned off becuase he made some stupid comments that will piss off unions and hopefully people who are part of Unions after Palin already pissed off community organizers. Coupled with Cindy McCain not giving a great speech herself I am wandering if the bounce will be smaller than imagined. Seriously this speech can be used to make so many attack ads for Dems.
