Palin Mentioned Briefly Wednesday an Anecdote About an Aircraft
The twenty-three year old 1984 (<<--) Westwind II was purchased by the corrupt and cronyism-prone former Governor of Alaska, Frank Murkowski. It was purchased for use by the Governor AND to facilitate prisoner transportation to Arizona.

And guess what happened next?

She put the motherfucker up on eBay!

At least half of the ticket knows how to use a personal computer.

Problem is, she didn't sell the airplane on eBay. It didn't even come close to the reserve.

She sold the airplane, at a huge loss, to an Alaskan businessman via a broker.

Psst. And  regarding the eBay seller's rating....

2. Wow. You're Good.
You need to go work for "them."

My point was that the State of Alaska didn't have a 98%+ rating.

You completely turned it around!!!

3. The unhappy customer...

93.8% is a 'just okay' rating among most of the ebay sellers I see. I had to look up the sales history.

Here's the unhappy customer and their response for him: caveat emptor, in the great GOP tradition of free markets.

Didn't say anything about dry rot. Buyer: kl1256 ( 10) Dec-15-06 12:28

6. Pretty strange for a state government, right?
If the complaint was false it would have been removed based on the credibility of the State of Alaska, right?

4. "Palin's Strange eBay Exaggeration"
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/04/sarah-palins-strange-ebay_n_124097.html

What is perplexing, however, are unnecessary lies. Silly falsehoods, said for no apparent reason, on topics that the world would have totally avoided had you not lied about it in the first place. One strange Sarah Palin falsehood, which she acclaimed as truth yesterday and the campaign reaffirmed tonight in video was that she successfully auctioned a private jet she deemed unnecessary for the State of Alaska to maintain on eBay.

Palin seems to be doing wholesale padding of the resume and bio, to the point where she's starting to seem unstable.

5. My ex husband is like that
He lies about EVERYTHING- Mostly piddly, unnecessary nothings. Because he has antisocial personality disorder (He's a sociopath and a compulsive liar). Maybe that's what we're dealing with.

Far be it for me to speculate about someone's mental health, but I think it's a reasonable thing to wonder...
