Tinfoil hat theory: Here's how they'll get Sarah Palin out of the debate on 10/2
Bristol Palin will have a "miscarriage" a couple days before.

Sarah will have to go home to be with her daughter, and will have to cancel out of the debate.

(Does that look more like "Mom and Dad" or "Sister and future Brother-in-Law"?)

Is this an "ugly" theory?

Yep. But bookmark it.

On Sept 30, or thereabouts, when we hear about Bristol's unexpected "miscarriage".... remember where you heard it.

3. Cut the crap with this shitting on the kids. This is exactly why Obama said to lay off the children
A miscarriage is a tragedy.

I think you are like to be a male, a particularly nasty insensitive kind.

7. Palin can't stop kids from screwing, so she can't control Bristol now. Lay off the kids! Now!

13. You are attacking Bristol. You are assuming she would agree to give away her child fraudulently.

9. Can we Democrats please debate Gov. Palin on the issues!
We can have a legitimate debate on choice, energy, Iraq, church/state policies, on and on. But if we go down this path of focusing on her personal life, we are taking the low road to nowhere. Can't the party that nominated the first African-American for POTUS, just congratulate the other side for nominating a woman for VP, and then focus on a serious debate of issues, plans, policies?

11. How can we debate when she REFUSES to answer questions? THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT

14. Has she already refused to participate in the debate?
Calling on her to face the press is fair game. Insisting that she debate is essential. The other stuff about her family is small-minded.

10. You don't get it--expectations will be so low that she'll be declared the winner based on soundbites

12. Oh, I get it..... but the GOP is so afraid of a gaffe by her, they will try anything to get out of
that debate.

Otherwise, they'll be crossing their fingers the entire time.

15. This kind of thing does happen.
I'm an adult educator. One of my former students had a fake
pregnancy, followed by a fake miscarriage, in order to try to
garner sympathy. I'm not making any claims about anybody
else's pregnancies - just noting that sometimes people really
do use this tactic.
