love: he is living proof against the lie that blacks are voting for Obama just because Obama is black. If that's true, how come we didn't vote for Michael Steele's sorry ass when he was running against a white man for the Senate? I pulled the lever for the man representing my interests, which was Ben Cardin.

Remember, he ran against Ben Cardin in the primary and was well known and well loved in the black community. I cornered Cardin at the Takoma Park Fall Festival and demanded that he tell me what he was going to do for the community and how he planned to beat Steele. His answers satisfied me and that's all I needed to hear. I am a black woman and I didn't vote along racial lines. I voted against Mfume and for Cardin because he was specific. However, rumor has it that Mfume plans to run against Barbara Mikulski for the Senate seat, and I, for one will campaign my heart out for him. I hate that woman. It's time for her to go!!!
