Rasmussen: Palin more popular than Obama and McCain |
|
This is utterly frightening, from Rasmussen Reports:
A week ago, most Americans had never heard of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Now, following a Vice Presidential acceptance speech viewed live by more than 40 million people, Palin is viewed favorably by 58% of American voters. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 37% hold an unfavorable view of the self-described hockey mom.

SERIOUSLY not buying it, way too far out of the norm and disconnected from reality.
AND, if this is genuine, and REALLY reflects where the country is with this lady, the republic is fin DONE.

I am only hoping that her big snarky mouth will get her into trouble..but then she's been playing "cutie-pie" her whole life, and she's pretty good at it..
and her "story" is being bought hook-line-and-sinker, because suckers want to believe it..and everyone's afraid to hammer her, for fear of being called a bully..
Gotta hand it to Karl..he's still got it..

by 57% in the same poll. Good job being completely suckered and manipulated by the media and a repuke polling firm.

about personality not issues and substance. It's up to Obama/Biden to drag this back to issues and substance. If we don't, it could get just crazy!!

13. They Can't Win On Issues |
|
they can't win on issues, so it has to be about personality.
Even so, I honestly don't understand how that nasty, vitriolic, sarcastic bitch* breaks 50% approval rating. Unless it's just because she's fresh and new, our country really is in deep trouble.
* I do not intend bitch as a sexist slur, although it is gender based. I think Rudy Giuliani was a nasty, vitriolic and sarcastic dick when he gave his speech, which had a lot of the same elements. Somehow, jerk or ass is just too mild a term to use.

21. If that was the game, couldn't they have found someone genuinely likable? |
|
Jane Swift, perhaps? (Was acting governor for in Massachusetts for longer than Palin was gov in Alaska)., and running for gov., forced out by party leaders to make way for Romney, was a Republican, but carried herself with dignity. Oh, that's why they didn't pick someone like her

seriously, Republicans love her and she charmed independents with her speech Wednesday night. We despise her because we know the truth, but people who don't pay attention find her witty and charming.

31. I predicted that a week ago |
|
That she would be the most popular of the four. Actually it wasn't a difficult forecast but it was parallel to claims here that she would be removed from the VP slot or pull out due to personal reasons.
I've hosted enough debate watching parties to understand that her style works great among apolitical types.
