Why we're posting about Palin |
|
Yes, SHE is insignificant, but the the Repukes are making her a pop star--we have learned the lessons that if we ignore things (like Swift Boating) they do not go away.
Palin is boring, but she is their prize--their energy--it's not McCain. We have to hit them where it hurts.

8. No, they found her in a trailer park in Wasilla a few years back and |
|
thought she was just attractive enough for their plan to work.

But one also must remember that in 49 states this woman is unknown, and she could be our vice president. There are less than 2 months to the election and the American people have the right to know more about her, her record and what she believes on the issues.
What are her foreign policy views? We know that she thinks the war in Iraq is "God's plan", but what else? Israel and the Middle East? Latin America? For expanding NATO or not? Darfur? AIDS in Africa? We just don't know, and the McCain campaign won't let her be interviewed until the end of the month.

Boring? Well I dunno, probably Hitler was boring, too, but the word I was think of really was, FRIGHTENING. The stereotypes have been listed before...
"Theory A manager, not afraid to lie for the right price, extremist with an agenda, tool of the right wing, power hungry and ambitious. She's everything we'd look for in a marathoner, fitness expert, control freak, and offensive lineman.
I don't give a damn if anyone is annoyed that this forum is Pallin centric right now, it's healthy!

9. I think that Republicans would prefer that we stay obsesses and distracted with Palin. |
|
It is misdirection, and with our attention on her, McCain skates toward the finish line. Palin should not be ignored, neither should she be our sole center of attention. She certainly does not merit the number of threads she gets here to the near exclusion of our own nominee Barack Obama, not to mention our own VP candidate Joe Biden.
