Congressional Quarterly - Congratulations to John McCain! He's Number 1 in 2007!
Edited on Sat Sep-06-08 11:05 PM by Median Democrat
I know that John McCain is a George Bush kiss ass, but who knew that he was the number 1 kiss ass who voted with George Bush a stunning 95% of the time? This makes him the number 1 Bush loyalist in the entire freaking Senate! Indeed, even when you throw in the house and all of its members, only three members of Congress MATCH John McCain's loyalty to George Bush. No one beats John McCain's 95% loyalty score. In contrast, Obama only voted with George Bush 40% of the time in 2007, which underscores Obama's position that McCain has a funny idea of what being a maverick means.

So, I think McCain should get some of Palin's famous lipstick, because he is the number 1 kiss ass in Congress. Congratulations!

2. They Have Actually Grown Closer In Recent Years!
Over the entire Bush era, McCain has a 90% presidential support rating. Obama scores a 40%. Thus, McCain's most recent 95% score shows that McCain's fondness for Bush policies has grown over time:

I should also mention that Biden only voted with Bush 37% of the time in 2007.
