McCain's Mortality Table
My husband is in insurance and yesterday he worked out
McCain's mortality via insurance tables:

Of 100 men in the US who survive infant mortality only 67 are
alive at age 72.

At age 77 (McCain's age at the end of the next presidental
term) only 54 are still alive.

That means that 19.4% have died - that is the same percentage
chance of Palin becoming president.

However, the stress of his wartime imprisonment, his history
with melanoma (a vicious form of cancer) would raise McCain's
"ratable age" considerably - making it even more
likely that Palin would become president.

That doesn't even factor in the stress of actually being
president which insurance companies don't rate.

1. And it doesn't factor in...
...the additional risk of having a psychotically ambitious Vice President with a moose gun and personal orders from God.

2. Lol - Hadn't thought of that....
...my husband says that they often exclude such things from their policies.

3. I'd imagine McPOW's insurers are feverishly reassessing...
...his coverage. I can just see them adding riders like "the insured will not, under any circumstances, eat food products prepared in whole or in part by anyone with the initials 'SP' (or any relation or employee of said person)."

4. If you're not already an underwriter...
...there's a future in it for you.
