No talk shows, but Palin documentary done & being shown on Fox this morn. |
|
So this is how they're gonna do it. Like with any show horse, they are going to package her and sell her in a pre-packaged box, all wrapped up and with no full depth.
No questions. No insight. No critical looking at the person's past. A documentary, of all things, in lieu of discussions with her!
This won't sell to the Independents, I wouldn't think. So it's all about the base. They'll eat it up. As long as a person holds a couple of "social value" positions, the far right doesn't care and doesn't ask. That's all they need to know. Give 'em a documentary that reinforces the speech they wrote for her, and that's it.
It's unbelievable. I don't recall any presidential ticket candidate being marketed like this.

1. It really is something. But, it show that it is on mcpow to |
|
get anyone other than the fundie base. They are probably around 20%, and that is all Falin is good for.
Mcpow won't be able to bring moderates and Indys to his side with her pandering to the fundies, though.

2. Not a "documentary" but an infomercial designed to sell a product. |
|
And if you buy it, today only, they will throw in a set of steak knives.

3. Were you asleep during the Regan Campaign. The PR for |

GWB when he ran initially was expertly choreographed by Mark McKinnon.
The GOP pull the Trojan Horse and Democrats just navel gaze. They are so fearful of standing up for our ideology, the GOP just walk away the winners.
Who has asked---Is America ready for a Right Wing Cultural Conservative as POTUS?

5. Yesterday on MSNBC, Brad Blakeman (sp?) referred to her |
|
as 'the new product' that they are introducing to the public. That's it in a nutshell, they are packaging her and will try to shove her down our collective throats.

But is too scared to come out and play. Palin strikes me as more of a smug poodle.

7. CNN's having a similar show next weekend. |
|
Will profile both Biden and Palin, much like it did with Obama and McCain. I saw most of the Obama/McCain shows and they reminded me of A&E's Biography.

need to take a very close look at how our property is being abused by one political party to spread propaganda and lies around what begs to be treated as a very serious subject. We are deciding our children's future, not picking players for some fictional hockey team.
