Sarah Palin is a WEAKLING, Hiding Behind her Family
You know, the public has every right to call Palin on the inconsitencies between her own views (which she wants to push on every one else) and her own life. Really, she only went through a few days of media scrutiny regarding her family and already this is too much for her. OMG. Instaed of saying that she is not capable of speaking with the media "until she is comfortable", the MCCain campaign might as well just say Sarah Palin is such a weak candidate that we want you to focus on the family issue so you don't really know how bad she is. You would think that she would be anxious to move beyond discussion of her family, INSTEAD SHE USES HER FAMILY AS A SHIELD, so that she can avoid taking on challenging questions about her positions, her involvement in corruption, her lies.

What a cold woman to hold up her teenage daughter to the scrutiny of the public to deflect the public's attention from her own putrid heart.

All this the media is so mean is bull crap and people shouldn't be falling for this line.

1. VP debate question for Sarah:
So how's your "abstinence only" program working out at home?

2. Her ideas and beliefs cannot stand up to scrutiny
so like a cockroach, she's scurried off to hide outside the light of questioning.
I think the press should indeed "defer" to her wishes.. and IGNORE her

5. or the next best thing:
give tons of air time (that she MIGHT have had to espouse her views had she deigned to speak) to all those folks who know alot about her...the trooper ex brother in law, any ex boyfriends of hers (especially those she's had since she married Todd), the librarian she threatened to fire if books weren't banned, etc etc etc.

3. EXACTLY.
Like she didn't know her entire family would be scrutinized? Can you imagine being the 17 year old pushed out there to get her mother sympathy votes? and the boyfriend...did you see him sitting by Bristol at the RNC? She was grabbing his hand and he looked like he was being chased down by Sarah with a howitzer. "anywhere but here...."

4. I think the meme is Sarracuda: all bark, no bite.
It's obvious that she's in way over her head. Any asshole with vocal chords and a functioning brain can read insults from a teleprompter, but the day of reckoning will come when she has to think and speak without scripts and teleprompters. Good luck, Saracuda. Or should I say "Sara the Jellyfish."

7. Sarah the Selfish
I agree. Her political aspirations are apparently more important to her than her daughter's privacy! I cannot imagine how that 17 year old feels, knowing that her personal situation has been exposed to the whole world by her own mother. Selfish is an appropriate adjective for Sarah.
And to that you might add "irresponsible". When she made the choice to have the baby that she knew had Down's Syndrome, her commitment should have been to that baby who will need constant love, attention and understanding. Instead she has chosen to run for vice-president. Her priorities are definitely in the wrong place, but I guess that is why she fits in so well with the Republicans!
