NEWS FLASH to McCain-Palin: Our Politicians DEFER to the American People
September 07, 2008 9:41 AM

Rick Davis, campaign manager for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., just told Fox News Channel's Chris Wallace that McCain running mate Gov. Sarah Palin won't subject herself to any tough questions from reporters "until the point in time when she'll be treated with respect and deference."

The United States celebrates this year the 225th anniversary of its victory over the British monarchy. OUR politicians DEFER to the American People, not the reverse.

2. This shows she's not ready to be on her own.
Bad news for supporters of an old man fighting dementia, who picked her for vice.

4. Our politicians DON"T DEFER to the American people anymore.
Most of them don't even listen to us anymore. They are rich and have health care. I have many return letters from senate and congressmen which all state in some form that they will stay the course or not rock the boat. They certainly did not impeach or get us out of the war. Did we say we wanted missile bases in Poland? Did we say we wanted staging areas in Georgia to prep for an attack on Iran? Did we say we wanted the patriot act? Did we say we wanted to have our communications monitored? Did we say we wanted to outsource our jobs? ...etc...

5. Oh how I wish we had someone in the media with enough spine to tell
the McCane camp, "Look, in America, the president and vice president work for the people, got it?"
