If repugs "wire" Palin in Biden debate she will chew Biden up and spit him out |

Is there no-one here in DU. that didn't clearly see the receiver pictured in upper part of Bush's jacket which Bush later commented that "it was a poorly tailored shirt?

On edit; Obama should look for some kind of frequency jamming device...that could be done....they just have to know what channel and frequency it's on.

|
ahead of time and she will have a receiver in her ear.. We know this.. But I tend to think Biden will still do well... He's pretty knowledgeable about different topics, no b.s... and I don't think he's after personal digs.. Expect that from her.. It will give a lot of people the heebeejeebees. Watching her try to attack a man that has had a fine career as a public servant.

And like Bush, if she's able to string together a two-word sentence, she'll be declared the winner. The goop excels at lowering expectations, and the lap-dog-corporate-whore media will trip over itself helping to prop up The Queen of Wasilla.

43. She will not be wired I'll bet on it. They will employ HSS (HyperSonic Sound) |
|
She will have a small ear piece that is all but noticeable and will be bathed in sound directed her way that nobody can hear without the little ear piece. Easiest way to defeat the system is to locate the person directing the sound and simply stand if front of the device they carry. A more deviant way would be to locate a second transmitter and start feeding her babble, or even a baseball statistics. http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/technology/2003-05-19-hss_x.htm

23. Oh no she won't. The RNC guys talking into the earpiece can't |
|
out debate Biden !!
They'll send her into the debates with some memorized punchlines and zingers up her sleeve, for sure. Some anti- smart stuff that will play well with fundamentalists. Something like "the best intelligence in the world didn't stop the 9/11 attacks." Hoping they've convinced enough people that Republicans having been in charge for 9 months already by that time wasn't relevant.
The RNC may even send her in with some lines guaranteed to get an eye-roll from Joe that the media is ready to play up as they did with Gore's genuine responses to Bush's stupidity.
Then they can roll on to further stoke the culture wars by saying how the debate was between the Eastern Elite Law Professor and the genuine (!?!) Hockey Mom.

It ain't about the debates. It's about the ongoing election theft conspiracies, precinct by precinct, especially in the smaller states.

Haven't you heard of the expectations game? We have got to say that we think Palin will do well in the debate, then when she doesn't do so well the MSM will spin it as a victory for Biden. But if we set Biden's expectations too high it will be impossible for him to meet them and the MSM weill spin it as a Palin victory as long as she doesn't make a total fool of herself, and she probably won't be that bad.

Problem is not many voters watched the debates, and then there was that Osama endorsment of Bush.
At any rate, a room full of republican operatives is no match for Biden. Hopefully there will be more people watching the debates this time.

Edited on Sun Sep-07-08 03:01 PM by Phx_Dem
including all of the Democratic candidates during debates. Not Obama, not Clinton, not Edwards, Richardson or anyone else. It doesn't mean Mooselady won't be able to hold her own -- well have to wait and see -- but she definitely will not be chewing anyone up, and it's quite possible the only thing she'll be spitting out are her teeth after Biden shoves them down her throat.
If she were so fucking tough, they wouldn't be hiding her right now. And now we find out that her first interview with go to Charlie Gibson?! Shit, I'm surpised they didn't dust off Barbara Walters.
Let's face it anyone, including me, could get up on stage and give a rehearsed speech, written by someone else, filled with nasty barbs. That doesn't make her tough and it doesn't make her smart. We'll see if she can measure up after her weeks of training. My guess is no. She'll just be the same snide, snarky, ridiculing person that we have already seen, only with less teeth.

Even with a teleprompter beaming their words to them, we've been treated to gems such as "giving hot bottled water to dehydrated babies". She's going to have to know her stuff. Period. And that won't happen in two weeks of cramming. A bigger worry, is that they don't give her sufficient access to the media to expose her lack of depth on any subject relevant to the job.
