Wait! The Media and McCain are treating Palin as though she's the First Lady! We must fight this!

It just occurred to me when I saw that Charlie Gibson is doing the interview of Caribou Barbie. The media is allowing her to be treated like the First Lady, NOT someone expected to function as a president in a matter of minutes. When Bush was flying around on 9/11 Cheney was running the Country.

The media has to grasp that just because the Republicans are whining, Palin HAS to face the same scrutiny as any man or any Democratic female! She is NOT McCain's daughter, nor wife, nor secretary. She is up for the most important job in the entire WORLD. They are allowing her to do the coffe circuit interviews, as though she's a 'feel good story'.

We must hold the media accountable and remind them that SHE must face the same scrutiny as any other candidate! And.. her CHARACTER MUST be dissected, because they sure the hell have done that to EVERY Democratic candidate.
