5. I really hope Bill gets out there and starts campaigning. He can
go into the areas that were strong for Hillary and draw huge crowds.

22. Like Ken Dove!
Compère: With me now is Mr Ken Dove, twice voted the most interesting man in Dorking. Ken, I believe you're interested in shouting.

Dove (shouting): Yes, I'm interested in shouting all right, by jove you certainly hit the nail on the head with that particular observation of yours then!

Compère: And what does your wife think of this?

Wife (voice offstage, full-blooded): I agree with him!

Dove: Shut up!

(from a Monty Python bit featuring - that's right - Michael Palin!)

23. I never saw the Monty Python tv show
want to, but haven't. I was thinking more of Steve Carrell on Anchorman.

Brian Fantana: Don't get me wrong, I love the ladies. I mean they rev my engines, but they don't belong in the newsroom.
Champ Kind: It is anchor*man*, not anchor*lady*. And that is a scientific fact.
Brick Tamland: I don't know what we're yelling about.
Brian Fantana: You're with us, Ron, what do you think?
Ron Burgundy: She... Sh... It's terrible. She has beautiful eyes, and her hair smells like cinnamon.
Brick Tamland: Loud noises.

13. Awww geez.
I really hate when we get to the point where you can't even make a pointed critique of the campaign. Happened in 2004 on DU, too.

19. Well go ahead, I've done it!
But claiming Obama doesn't get it that its the economy (and the war, I might add, and how they're linked :) ), but calling Obama a dillweed?

That's pointed?

10. This is very good news.
Bill could fill an important role in this campaign. I would first send him to Arkansas, then Florida, then Ohio to go after the former bitter Hillary supporters.

Last I heard, Strickland was still talking shit. Or has that changed recently?

18. Agreed. Bobble-head Strickland has been a reluctant warrior.
Somebody needs to get in his face.
