Obama knows what he is doing. And his camp is smarter than you will ever be!
Edited on Sun Sep-07-08 06:44 PM by Vote2008
This board is like people watching a NFL football game and saying....

"Why are they running the ball, they should be passing more"

when the NFL team has an offensive coordinator who spent 80 hours last week watching films and practing with the team and knows 10000 times what any fan knows about the offense and has 1 million reasons why they are running the ball and not passing.

Same here with people questioning Obama and his advisors. You don't think they have discussed and thought about this 1000 times the amount your dumb ass has spent on this board. They know more about running campaigns than anyone on this board put together. And if you sat down and talked to them they would know you were clueless in about 1 minute.

If you need to vent then complain to your husband or wife.

I bet the whiners here spend a lot more time online whining than they do making calls or registering voters for Obama.

Maybe we need a "Compalin about what Obama is Doing" board.

Flame away. And then kiss my ass!

1. Thank you.
That needed to be said. Obama and Biden are doing fine, thank you. No time to panic.

3. Amen! Only I think many of the whiners are PUMA whackos and McCain trolls
The rest need to get a grip, STFU and go do some volunteering for Team Obama where they can put their
energy where their mouths are.

4. I can understand the frustration.
There were a ton of posts four years ago proclaiming, "Settle down, DU! John Kerry knows what he is doing!"

And we all know how that turned out.

7. No flame from me.
You are absolutely right. I think people got so frustrated by the performance of the Gore and Kerry teams, they have a hard time trusting the Obama folks. But the simple truth is, they are LIGHT YEARS beter than any campaign staff I have seen in my lifetime.

8. John Kerry is a great closer!!!!!!
Sorry, spare me the echo chamber circle jerk blind faith garbage.

Obama is rerunning Dukakis's campaign. He's getting slapped around like a little wimp, and then Biden comes out and talks about how great McCain and Palin are.

25. John Kerry won even more primaries than Obama did.
Yet he ran a terrible general election campaign.

Same thing for Michael Dukakis.

11. Lets look at 2004......
sure, we lost. And it is easy to say we should have done this or that. But that does not mean we would have won. Monday morning quarterback is an easy job! If Kerry would have been aggressive mabye we lose by more. Who knows??? Leave it to the experts or get a job as a political advisor.

14. I agree the Obama camp is extremely smart
but they're not out here living the common day to day life many of us do. We get the opportunity to hear what are moderate/conservative co-workers, family members and friends say and think.

That's not what I see. Not in the least.

Maybe some mistake bluster for strength but that tends to be a mistake, especially when you're doing the blustering.

20. I resent that
I am far smarter than anyone alive, much less working on any wimpy campaign. Why do you think I post here at DU. I don't want to make others around me feel bad about being so much less intelligent, so I took a vow of silence. But I need to share my genius somewhere, and at least here it is relatively anonymous.

So there you have it. Take back your unfounded accusation immediately, or something.

21. What exactly is your purpose in posting this?
To dampen people's enthusiasm? Here's at least one DU'er who I'm sure the Obama camp was happy to hear from, giving them some valuable info they might not have otherwise caught...

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x6970928

And even if they HAD already caught it, you don't think they appreciate all the people here paying attention and trying to help them out in their own way? Sure, they could be making calls and registering voters but we all have different skills and different things we feel comfortable doing. Disparaging the others on this board accomplishes exactly nothing positive.
