Why the fuck is ANYONE looking at any national Polls? Work your state!!! |
|
If its strong Obama, split your time working your state and battleground states.
We are very strong looking at the Electoral map. Help in Ohio, New Mexico, Montana, Fla., etc.
But don't fret or praise the "Daily Gallup"

1. Work your state is the operative word |
|
Everyone of us should be out working the streets and or phone banks on the weekends and evening that we have free.
I was on DU this weekend because I was sick and had to cancel my canvasing activities. There were a large number of people posting on both Saturday and Sunday.
If we are really passionate about winning in November, we had better get our asses out in the streets every weekend between now and then.
Saturday and Sunday traffic on this board should be minimal between the hours of 12:00 EST and 3:00 PST.

2. One reason for some optimism |
|
is that the polling showing McCain with a suddenly odd lead are: 1. national, 2. registered not likely voters.
Perhaps the false notion that McCain has a solid lead with help bed down any impulse on the part of low-information pubbie inclined voters. If McCain is going to win, there's no reason to go to the inconvenience of voting -
then the Obama/Biden landslide comes.

impact of events on Public Opinion. If your state is a swing state then it is likely NOT a population out-lier and thus will be affected similarly.
We should stop criticizing or polls and try to learn from them and act decisively.
