McCain: Catering to the Left is "wrong for America"

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/09/08/1362730.aspx

<snip>

Catering to the Left is "wrong for America," McCain said, and Obama's "wrong for America." But continuing in his campaign's tradition of comparing McCain's running mate to Obama rather than McCain himself, the GOP nominee concluded, "This governor is right for America. Sarah Palin is right for America."

1. Wake up, Grampy -- the left IS AMERICA ...
It's the "right" that's gone wrong.

And while you're so quick to divide us up into "camps,"
whatever happened to the "GOP"? You remember, Grampy,
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY? The one you don't want to mention
these days? WHY ARE YOU SO AFRAID TO CALL YOURSELF A
REPUBLICAN, if its policies are so "right for America"?

4. Perfect example of Rovian logic
Is is clear as a bell that McSame catered to the right in his choice and they know how effective a campaign would be pointing out how wrong another * frightwinger would be.
Turn it around before the other side gets on track and he is ahead of the I'm right, you're wrong argument and his obvious asskissing of the extreme right gets a pass.
Wake up Dems and learn how to play the game!

8. Catering to the left? Like nonprofit medical care as a right not a priviledge?
You mean progressive taxation?
You mean raising the minimum wage?
You mean breaking up media conglomerates?
You mean re-nationalizing Fannie May and Freddie Mac?
Deprivatizing all the government services the Modern Republicans have milked dry to rebuild our government resources and competence?

11. These are the simple concepts that win elections, maybe Obama needs a knapp sack of similar images
geared & weighted to counter such tripe. republicans are being allowed to run the debate from the ante rooms of congress ala the puffy red droopy blue eyed face of John Boehner on drilling, an economy they drove off the cliff, war, no-bid contracts, wind power, soon to be the privatization of water, education, social security and everything in between, the whole nine...and nothing is being said to counter their conceited lying...

Forget Obama; if he doesn't want to engage it's his campaign that's his decision, but dem leadership seems happy with the status quo while Kay Bailey is seen smiling, shaking her head "no, dear" and pooh-poohing Boxer's furrowed, consternated brow into submission' on national TV...

This is some really serious *and* stupid shit. If dems want to win they need to get very much busier. Sending emails to MSNBC about boycotts cause everybody here loves KO is near pointless; it's their freaking network, they'll shut it down if they see fit to do so...

Maybe time to email every dem member of the congress and senate and ask them why they aren't seen out there more often, or on TV running their mouths for truth or at least a counter to this rotted republican message machine. The absence of such voices are heard as a deafening thunder strike against the hope for true change democratic americans have already voted and expressed a desire for.

The people cannot do everything, the leadership must do something. They must lead if nothing else. They must stop lending republicans aid & comfort with their silence.

14. McCain is going to need a chip change real soon
Johnny the Robot keeps repeating himself with no inflections added for zest. I figure he will be noticeably repeating himself in a couple of days. He may not be able to compute another speech, cheap chips it seems.....
