SHE'S SCARY.
I've spoken to various friends about Palin and the specifics of her ideas, her beliefs, and her record in Alaska, but in doing so, I've noticed one thing. All you have to say when someone mentions Palin is "she's scary" and people will immediately agree with you.

We just need to boil her down to that simple meme. Quayle was stupid, Cheney evil, but she's just flat out SCARY. It kind of cuts through all of the nuance, all of the issues and spin, and sums her up completely truthfully, accurately, and compellingly.

SHE'S SCARY.

2. Exactly--we just need to say "she's scary" and people will fill in theri own blanks.
Yes, and on so many levels. The wacky "Christianity," her misogyny, her frightening lack of knowledge of Iraq that we on the blogs are well aware of.

She's just scary, indeed.

4. Yep, people will either nod in agreement and you've helped to perpetuate the idea...
Or I guess they might say "why do you find her scary" in which case you can then have a chance to go into the details.

I think this is better than dismissing her, trying to say that she's a joke, or is too lightweight to talk to the press or whatever. That kind of helps her succeed in trying to hide who she really is. And who she is is...

SCARY.

7. Koch's comment is what made me think of it.
I suddenly realized that every time I say "she's scary" to someone I get a very strong reaction. When I say things like "did you know, blah blah blah rape kit, blah blah earmark" I kind of get that "yeah yeah they're all corrupt" nod of approval. But it's much more powerful to say nothing but...

SHE'S SCARY
