I'm sure this has been talked about here already, but on the way home I was flipping radio stations and heard 2 right wing talk shows claiming that because Senator Obama used the term "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig", that he was literally calling Sarah Palin a pig. They were serious (or series!!!11) Haven't these people ever heard of metaphors? I can't believe how easily the followers of these hosts let themselves get brainwashed and manipulated.
