Do voters understand Palin has a 2 month shelf life
Do you think these "new" voters voting for McCain because of her really understand what her job is going to be in that administration? Because it's been over a week and I haven't a clue. Do they really think McCain is going to listen or place a person he's known for a few weeks in charge of any significant program or initiative? She has energy experience, but do I really believe he'll listen to Palin energy advise over the advise of energy lobbyist he's known for 26 years. Heck she only spouts lobbyist energy talking points anyways. Well accept when she wants money for energy projects so stupid even energy companies don't want them. Unless he dies and I'm pretty sure he's not planning on dieing (but then who is) she is window dressing. Her job will be to roll out onto photo ops and talk up whatever program McCain is pushing her out for. That is until the public gets sick of her. In politics how fast does Washington get sick of all photoop no substance people? Other than that it's to show up in the senate for votes, which she won't do unless they're close. Ultimately what possible piece of governing does Palin have more experience than McCain on and might solicit advise. Using the executive pen to sign legislation? The whole thing is a media farce. Wouldn't the first question asked after a vice presidential pick, what exactly do you plan to use this person for? With Biden it was both obvious his future role and clear he was extremely qualified for it. I give up, what role can this person possibly have other than campaign painted pig?

2. Her Job Would Be President :yikes: After McAncient Kicks the Bucket
Do you really think McOlderthandirt is going to last more than a year or two as President?
He doesn't look all that healthy, and the stress of that office takes a huge toll on all who hold it.

8. If Al Davis, Bob Dole and Dick Cheney never die
I willing to believe he won't either. Evil seems to turn them into the walking undead.

4. It doesn't matter
If McCain loses she likely will be the frontrunner in 2012.
If McCain wins & dies she will be the president and run for election as party nominee.
If McCain wins & doesn't die I doubt he will run in 2012 so she will be the frontrunner.

No matter what she will be the face or Republican party in 2012.
That is why we need to crush them.

Funny you said shelf life of two months.
It is 55 days till election day.
If she lasts 55 days she served her purpose.

9. that's the whole point
Why would anyone vote for a person that has no purpose after the election. This is normally why VP picks don't matter. When it comes time to vote... people vote who's on top of the ticket. Because the bottom of the ticket often becomes furniture in the administration. Palin has not part of the presidents inner circle written all over her.

6. Emphasize this to wavering values voters. Palin is a campaign pick, not a governing pick.

7. You're being generous...her silly canned speech has already passed its sell by date
The cringe inducing sight of GOP faithful having to laugh and clap at the same quips they've heard 40 times is enough to make anyone slink away, embarrassed. Two months? Funny.
