4. Finally catching on that they got played, big time |

It's a hilarious misstep by the Mccain campaign and the freepers. They look unhinged, which, given the fast evaporation of the convention bounce and the obvious pegging of Saint Sarah as a fraud and a liar, they are. Mccain camp is in turmoil looking at their internals, so they will fling and fling from here on out, and Obama knows it. When he can induce them into flinging shit that boomerangs on them, he will. Obama knew damn well what he was doing, and the Freepers got played like a fiddle.

It's what Obama did with the houses gaffe, and it's clearly what he's doing now -- I'm sure they've got tons of oppo research, but rather than string it out he's waiting for the right moment to strike.
And if that strike is as effective as it was after the house gaffe, McSame won't have a convention or HockeyMILF to hide behind when the poll numbers flip.

Did McCain camp walk into a trap (re: Pig/Lipstick)?
Posted on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 8:49:33 AM by Prime Mover
Hear me out.
The Obama campaign knew there was video of McCain using the exact same phrase to describe Hillary last October.
The spin on the MSM this morning is that McCain is A) whining and B) a hypocrit, and they are showing the clip of Obama followed by the clip of McCain last year. Both the Today show and CNN did this.
As Karl Rove always says, "if you're explaining, you're losing. If you're whining, you're losing."
I think that what Obama said was not an accident. His campaign knew the McCain camp's response, and they counted on it. It allowed them to get the video of McCain out there.
Obama was very crafty in not using Palin's name at all in the clip. He can plausibly claim (to the media) that "it's a familiar expression and I was referring to their co-opting the change message".
I just see the narrative on this beginning to spin away from our side and toward Obama's this morning in watching the morning news shows.
Is Obama's campaign smart enough to have done this on purpose?
I'm starting to wonder.

OK for McFuckhead to say it about Hillary because Hillary never mentioned lipstick. Not OK for Obama because Sarah did. Yikes.

12. Can you imagine trying to explain that convoluted logic to an independent voter?!? |
|
Man, they're idiots. An independent voter would be like, "So Palin owns the term lipstick on a pig now? Get outta here!" As soon as you need three or four sentences to explain your position, you're done. Obama's like "It's a common expression. They sound unhinged." the freepers are like "Well, when McCain used the same exact phrase to describe Hillary, the term lipstick had not yet become a popular term in the race. That only happened after Sarah Palin's speech. Thus, henceforth, it must have been...etc." Keep up with that silly explanation, freepers. You sound like fucking morons BECAUSE OBama played your asses for fools, and you predictably reacted.

It's Upsidedown Land over there!
Not to worry. Team Obama is playing tic-tac-toe while McCain is playing chess.
In what parallel universe? Oh yeah--theirs!
