My wife recieved this letter from a local woman concerning Palin. |
|
I have NEVER seen the number of emails against a political ticket like the ones coming in now.
And these are written by people that NEVER send political stuff out.
Anyway, this was forwarded this morning:
"Hi
Below is an email from a 79 year old Port Townsend writer in reference to Sarah Palin and in response to an email on the same topic that I forwarded to her earlier. I was very touched by this letter and want to share it. I hope you will forward to everyone you know in the hopes it will help wake up those who slumber... Annod
The email: I have a terrible feeling in the pit of my being because a feeble old man is terrified that he was going to lose face because he knew he could not stand up to Obama's intelligence and sensitivity to others, so he went out of his way in a senseless scheme to up set the election. He surely can not care about this country to commit such an uncaring, unpatriotic thing to do to our beloved country.Sarah Palin is not fit to take a seat anywhere in our government beyond the one she already holds in Alaska.
My family came to this country in 1628 as Puritans from England where they had owned a large successful knitting mill in Fordington. They gave that up to seek religious freedom and flee from persecution.by coming to the new world. When those that were trying to form a more perfect union, my eleventh great grandfather Joeseph Sprague, became one of the Minute Men with Paul Revere and others. He and a number of his sons engaged in the war with the crown of England. The Union they formed separated the church from the government. Many people in my family lost their lives fighting for this"Perfect Union"
We are in danger of losing everything our forefathers and mothers. fought so hard to win ,due to a bruised warrior's ego and an inflated beauty queen's hunger for the spot light. She lost me when she finally picked up that poor little compromised child and paraded it across the stage. It is my personal opinion that under all that blustering and aggressiveness is a very weak and sadly ineffective woman
Now I have been hearing that a "person of faith" is the only person suited to be our president or any other official, for that matter. I just watched a meeting conducted by Sarah Palin in Alaska when she was Governor there. I was not only shocked, but dismayed to think that what we would be hearing from her would be her tangent like references to "God" I was horrified to think that a person with such radical ideas could possibly be our president if McCain were to die in office. Picture that! I suggested everyone turn on CNN, Fox News, and C Span and watch with an open mind. Oh yes, I am a registered Republican for Obama/Biden. Two good men."

2. Palin reminds me of that born-again freak James Watt |
|
Remember Reagan's nutjob Sec. of the Interior who thought we could just rape and pillage the planet as much as we wanted because Jebus was gonna come down any day now?
Please save me from the religiously insane.

Some people can see it so clearly! This is heartening for me.
