McCain ad paints Dems as wolfpack hunting Palin
Source: CNN

John McCain's campaign released a new ad Wednesday that portrays Democratic operatives as a vicious wolfpack hunting VP nominee Sarah Palin.

“The attacks on Governor Palin have been called ‘completely false’…’misleading,’” says the female announcer in the 30-second spot, which points to a report from Factcheck.org shooting down many attacks on the Alaska governor. “And they've just begun.” ...

..“As Obama drops in the polls, he'll try to destroy her,” says the announcer, as images of a wolfpack appear on screen. "Obama's politics of hope? Empty words." ...

13. What else can he do?
He's tried everything else in the 'Dumbass' playbook. All that remains is to lie, smear, slander and whine his way into the hearts of independents.

The only people who are buying this &*@% are those who would vote for him anyway, no matter what he says or does.

3. Aerial Hunting
Perfect time for some video of Palin's aerial hunting of wolves. Nothing too bad. Just enough to get the point across.

36. No profile?
Anyway, I think the wolf thing is a reverse trap somehow, to get him to release an outrage ad on her wolf killing, so she can come out with an "Oh, we do it because we love the animals and are protecting wildlife!!1" ad to somehow get a one-up.

I don't trust it.

4. Yeah, I'll bet there's a pack of wolves who want a piece of her.
Seeing as how she's the one who put a contract out on wolves. I wish someone would make a creative ad bringing that right back to bite her in the ass.

8. Republicans are so pathetic, they are aggressive bullies...
...And when they are attacked, they play like victims in order to make the opposition afraid to attack, and intending to make people (primarily their own, which have been brainwashed for years) to stop listening to the opposition.

11. Subtle. Real subtle.
In 2004, the GOP did an ad that used wolves.

The wolves were metaphors for terrorists.

Remember, nothing the GOP does is by coincidence here.

14. They may have a winning strategy.
They know they will be stealing the election. Afterward, we will be thinking there were a majority of voters that believed this crap. IMO, it just ain´t so.

They have perfected election theft and the Dems have done nothing about it as a party. Why would they stop now, they are desperate for a new war.

27. Who's running for prez against Obama - Palin now?
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 02:30 PM by superconnected
Really, they only nominated her because Mcsame didn't have a chance and hillary was the only thing that got people against obama - for a while. They decided to use a woman to replace hillary and that's the only reason those throwbacks would use a woman as a vp candidate - because they HAD to.

Let's hope the press keeps reporting on her. They aren't polarizing women to her.

She has a 50's beehive hairstyle that NOBODY would sport in the lower 48, and she has 50's womens rights values to match.

They should have skipped focusing on the preggers 17 yo and focused on the preggers 44 yo that can't control getting herself getting pregnant and hid the fact that she was preggers until she was 7 months - even from her family. The question here is since MS palin wasn't on birthcontol and neither was her daughter, and since she wants to overturn roe vs. wade, does she believe in birth control at all?

I'm guessing Beehive lady does not.

That is what women should be asking her. Remember Elizabeth Dole stopped the red cross from distributing condoms because it was against her religious belief - yes palin is crazy enough to be that wacko too.

32. Factcheck has already debunked the ad's use of factcheck... entertaining!
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/mccain-palin_distorts_our_finding.html

"A McCain-Palin ad has FactCheck.org calling Obama's attacks on Palin "absolutely false" and "misleading." That's what we said, but it wasn't about Obama.

Our article criticized anonymous e-mail falsehoods and bogus claims about Palin posted around the Internet. We have no evidence that any of the claims we found to be false came from the Obama campaign."
