12. sorry, I am going back and forth....here's the scoop: On CNN, Wolf Blitzer
interviewed a Dem. in Michigan, who said that since Obama hasn't really spent time there (remember, he didnt campaign in MI), that the 4 pt lead in really a "dead heat", and with McCain choosing Palin, "Dems are getting nervous".............

Look, we NEED TO WIN Michigan............!! That is all I was saying.

4. Michigan is not in play
Despite 2 weeks of glowing coverage of Palin and McCain and millions of dollars worth of ads, McSame just can't seem to break through there. It's not going to happen for them, and they probably know it.

8. It's being taken care of
He was in Farmington Hills and Flint yesterday.

He has 32 offices in the state. McCain has 12.

The unions will be out in force on Election Day.

9. You wouldn't happen to have any backup for that
little line there with the quote marks would you? I mean you used quote marks so you must not have simply pulled it out of your ass or did you?

10. I've been seeing more Obama ads in the last few days
which makes me happy. I don't think Michigan will go for McCain but it's good to know Obama is still focused on Michigan. We sure could use the attention after what 8 years of Bush has done here.

11. I am working for the campaign in MI and we know how important this is...
I went to a meeting last night in Jackson and was surprised by how many people showed up. Our 'team' is growing everyday.

45 to 40.

Kerry won MI in 2004, 50 to 49 so there may be a bit of work to do.

17. He's improved his margin in the last three polls and wins ~57% of decided independents,
over 10 points better than his 50 state average, and this after the best two weeks of McCain's campaign. I'm not nervous about Michigan.
