19. Well, we didn't get a primary so it is kind of fun
to have Michigan be so important. The attention is well needed here...especially after what 4 years of Bush has done.

3. From what I am hearing its both sides
She seems to be polarizing MI. The conservatives love her and the liberals can't stand her.

6. Michigan uses the same canvassing techniques as PA - both states will go blue
We need to get the volunteers BIG TIME into Michigan to ensure that we have high voter turn out in cities like Detroit and Philadelphia

14. Never said it was in the bag - just said it was winnable if we do it right
If we get high voter turnout in major urban areas like Philly and Detroit PLUS keep the scamming to a minimum there is no way we'll lose these states.

I know with Philadelphia, it's amazing to watch how they work election day and we have to thank unions like SEIU for that. We get alot of PA Suburb, NJ and DE folks volunteering in Philly but none of these people really want to go into the areas where we need to get that turnout. In Philadelphia that is areas like North and West Philly but SEIU has no problem going there and wiill even rent buses to help get the people to the polls.

Gotta love the unions - they will work their asses off to get Obama elected

17. Detroit alone will not win Michigan. Need more high profile Democrats canvassing the state.

18. I disagree about the "far from it"
I would be surprised if Michigan didn't go for Obama. Of course, he will have to work for the win, but that's true about most states.
