The networks were slapped in the face by Palin's handlers...
...and the McCain campaign, when they were told to their faces that Palin did not have to talk to any of them. They felt scorned by these comments. It appears from the coverage on the evening news on all the networks that they have decided to prove to McCain and Palin that they cannot do it alone. They need to make themselves available for questions from the media. If not, they will pay a price. That is the message that the networks are sending to McCain and Palin, in my opinion.

2. If you don't talk to the media,
and the media is still under pressure to say SOMETHING, then the media will go out and hunt down their own information, and chances are it WON'T be the information you'd rather they be talking about.

So unless you want the media poking into your closets, and digging through the files in your attic, you'd better talk to them, a LOT. It's the only way to distract them AWAY from the stuff you don't want them to see.

3. on CBS and NBC, however, the 'analysts' said McCain wins these exchanges,
because any time spent on crap like this keeps Obama from talking about the issues

then, WHY cover it, you hypocrites?

huh?

YOU are the problem. not McCain. he does what he does

YOU choose to cover what you cover

you do NOT have to cover this, and cover it in a way that IGNORES the 99 percent of whatever else he said today, which deals with......ISSUES!

YOU are the problem, hypocritical media

YOU, and nobody else
