Rachel - opens with the Nation and Mother Jones

This is what I find fascinating about her show. Tonight, her first two guests were from the Nation and Mother Jones. I thought about it for a while, and I'd have to say, a couple years ago I would have thought NO WAY that representatives from these publications would be invited on a major cable news show. She's somehow pulling it off, and I hope she can continue to do so.

Someone needs to send Joe Scarborough a bouquet of flowers.

1. Kudos to Rachel! The MoJo piece brings up something

really important--the role of Todd Palin as not elected or hired "advisor" to the Alaska governor. What "unofficial" role would he play, if God forbid, Palin were in Blair House?

2. Of course then, she follows that up with Pat Buchanan

And he gets a full segment to rant. Funny how Pat seemed to oppose much of the Bush Crime Family policies (as he should have) but doesn't seem to have a problem with McCrazy/Moosealini continuing those policies.
