1. They definately should run this ad |
|
It would be appropriate considering all the ads they ran with Dems who said positive things about McCain.
Use it to point out their hypocrisy.

2. Its more than telling in that the once shark infested media circle ignores |
|
such stories, once upon a time they would have circled such hypocrisy with untold glee...

3. It's a wonder the Nixon-bashing Washington Post doesn't run something like this? |

Host (on TV news show, don't know his name) is interviewing Palin. It's a 45-sec clip of the interview. He asks Sarah Palin about how Obama is doing well in the polls. The interview is probably from around June or so, but doesn't say. Palin praises Obama's message of "change" saying it "resonates with Alaskans" very well and that's why people are attracted to him in what should be an easy state for McCain to win. See my comment right below yours. It wouldn't be a good ad.

9. It would be a bad ad. It just keeps Palin in the spotlight. |
|
There are much better ways to keep her in the spotlight in a more negative way. They can just easily spin this into praise for his oratory skills and celebrity status.

15. Sure we know that, but that will be the McCain spin |
|
Just like they're still using that line when responding to Matt Damon's criticism of Palin.
It doesn't take a political genius to figure out how the McCain camp will respond to this kind of ad. They will just point out that they are the TRUE reformers that Americans need and the REAL change that they have been looking for, filled with substance instead of just rhetoric.
It's best to come out with more than a jab, you need combinations, i.e. a response to the anticipated response from the McCain camp. This kind of ad just gives them an opening for them to talk about their reform message.

16. I agree it shouldn't be the only thing on the ad - it has to be combined |
|
but it can be put to good use.

10. After the video the perfect voice over comment would be: |
|
Yes, Palin thought that Obama's message resonated so well that they decided to steal it! They've made our message, their message. Then clips of McCain/Palin talking "change".
