I cant decide whether Palin has just handed us the election or completely screwed our relations with Russia. Or both, or.....

5. Georgia will NEVER be in NATO, Fuggit it.

1. Russia has shown that it could still bite and warned other nations (hullo, Poland!) that the US would not budge were they to be attacked by Russia
2. The Europeans are not going to accept the expansion of NATO. Not that France can say anything, but they need the natural gas from Russia.
3. The American people are not for it either. Did you notice the lack of interest for the conflict in Georgia? I even know people who wonder if it was the State of Georgia who was attacked, then when they learned that no, it was some obscure country, they just moved to the next topic, which was "what's for dinner?"
