Friends of Joe: Could we get some ads on Joe Biden? |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 01:59 PM by Skwmom
Maybe some regular people that know Joe vouching for him, some footage from the Amtrak goodbye, a couple of snippets of history (he took the train everyday), his credentials, ending with something like Joe Biden, ready from day one to work with Barack Obama to restore our standing in the world, implement a smart national defense policy that offers this country more than endless wars, ending our dependency on foreign oil and saving our planet by putting millions of Americans to work in green technology jobs.......
I think this would really go over big with certain voting blocks. Don't listen to the stupid talking heads. The VP pick can help attract voters.

I ADORE Joe. Living in PA, I am very familiar with him- but tons of people are not.

5. Exactly! The more people come to know Joe Biden the more they will like him. |
|
Issues alone NEVER win an election. People want to take the measure of the people they are electing to office. If people view Biden favorably, they will view Obama more favorably.

8. Probably, but I am really buried with this order, and that would take a lot of time.. |
|
so, at this moment, I couldn't do it. But, I think the Obama camp needs to do it. That way, it's in the MSM, instead of just the internets.;-)

|
who will put the info together to make an ad?
Not really technical here.

10. After my original post, I saw a guy on CNN (I think) who was bashing |
|
Joe, saying he could not be used to attract voters, unlike Palin who was ..... (forget the exact wording).
As some of you know I was not a happy camper when Obama picked Biden. But after I heard more about him and watched some of his interviews, etc. I really started to like the guy.
Bottom line: Unlike the stupid idiots who say VP doesn't matter, it does, especially to voters who are unsure about Obama. It's the old, you are judged by the company you keep. If people like Joe and think he's a good guy, they're more likely to give Obama the benefit of the doubt.
