How will McCain strike back?
Right now McCain is in a pretty bad situation. He failed to propose any useful method of combating the financial crisis and had his weak suggestion of "a commission" rightfully mocked by Obama. He closed out the day by attacking Obama for having former high-ranking members of Freddy and Fanny in his campaign and accepting the 2ndmost money from them and added a cheap shot about meeting with Barbra Streisand.

So what will he do next? Continue to attack Obama on stuff like this? Propose his own solution to the crisis? Run away from the issues and attack Obama on other grounds?

At any rate, Obama has McCain right where he must want him: off message, on defense and unable to address the suddenly critical issues.

2. McCain is WAY off balance, and even better...
...the "liar" message has gotten out. It will be hard for people to trust anything he says now. Awesome job by Barack and Co.

McCain might go the "humble" route, but more likely he will continue sinking his campaign into the muck. ...and I think it will crush him.

5. A question
Do you know where he said Obama accepted the second most amount of money for them? Just wanted to get a check for the sources on that, thanks!

"He talks a tough game on the financial crisis, but the facts tell a different story. Sen. Obama took more money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac than anyone but the chairman of the committee they answer to. And he put Fannie Mae’s CEO, who helped create this problem, in charge of finding his vice president. That’s not change, that’s what’s broken in Washington.”
