Where's President Barlett when you need him?
He knew his economics with a doctorate in the field. Everyone loves characters they've watched on TV, especially this show.

Obama needs to emphasize his level of education a lot in the next few days and weeks to take advantage of that parallel. People are really getting scared about the economy. They want to feel safe.

Hell, have him mention the West Wing of the White House when he can too. Muck with their memories of that character in the well-loved show since common sense doesn't seem to work well with some ; ) That'll bypass those bigoted egotistic minds too.

1. No offense to Bartlett... I don't think comparing oneself to a fictional character is a great idea.

4. Maybe not. But there's a lot of American votes living in fictional worlds....

5. I watched the entire series this summer
What a wonderful show! A bunch who'd never vote for Obama would probably vote for Bartlet if they could. Those are the ones that need to be gently reminded of the education level of Obama.

We don't need a military leader in office. We have the Pentagon for that. What is crticially needed is a economic leader instead. That needs to be emphasized a lot in the coming weeks.

Dang...need to photoshop something ; )

3. methinks...NAY
Way to combine the elitist and the star talking points into one bad suggestion. No offense intended but it seems less than a wise angle.
