2. That's why those who don't realize why we will win |
|
should simply use their passion meters. It is not about the passion in Obama, and certainly there is plenty of it....but is the kind of passion seen in the many that has not been stirred before, or has not been stirred in a long, long time. Anyone who underestimates how this phenomenon increases our chances, isn't really looking at things in its proper perspective. We are living history now, even if some of us don't quite understand it fully yet.

Especially with the living history part of your post. I was an apathetic Dem for years, but this election has me fired up and interested.

3. Thanks, Frenchiecat. That "where's the passion" saw the media tosses |
|
out there whenever Obama is on the offensive just disgusts me to no end. There's plenty of passion in Obama and in us. Obama is one of the most intensely sincere politicians I've seen in my life and it takes much passion to accomplish what this man has in the past year.

5. Those fools are just talking out of their asses..... |
|
attempting to dampen what they have no control over.
It is that fundamental belief -- it is that fundamental belief -- I am my brother's keeper, I am my sisters' keeper -- that makes this country work.
It's what allows us to pursue our individual dreams, yet still come together as a single American family: "E pluribus unum," out of many, one.
Now even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us, the spin masters and negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics of anything goes.
Well, I say to them tonight, there's not a liberal America and a conservative America; there's the United States of America.
There's not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of America. - Barack Obama, 2004

It happened yesterday when I heard Chris say that. I sent him a colorful email. I hope others did as well. hardball@msnbc.com

7. LOL, what's with the goat in one of the pictures? |
|
The supporter just randomly has a goat at the rally.
I'm just curious because it seems so random. Is it a dig at Bush for continuing to read My Pet Goat after being told about 9/11?

these are obvioously photoshopped - dont you know we are DOWN in ALL the polls? McCain is going to beat us badly with his dynamic reformer of a running mate and his newly proposed 9-11 commission for the economy.
We are being out-passioned by the McCain/Palin HUGE crowds
Oh yeah - just in case this is really necessary
:sarcasm: :hi:
thanks FrenchieCat

|
who was pretty reserved--and then I watched her at Obama's 2004 convention speech; she was standing up, jumping a little, and crying.
I wish she could see what's going to happen this year; my mom and dad would be SO happy about President Obama!
