The Palin Phenomenon reminded me of the book "Lord of the Flies"
It was like a bunch of children were let lose and having a party. Then Wall Street collapsed and it was like the part at the end when the gown up pilot shows up and says "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!" And the little savage party is brought crashing down to earth as reality hits and the grown ups take back over.

It feel like the childhood games are over. The American people are taking things serious again.

1. Yep, there is a kind of descent-into-chaos feel to the Palin pick.

But at least the younguns in LORD OF THE FLIES didn't use airplanes to hunt game.

Also I bet Piggy didn't pay as much for his specs as Palin did for hers.

The chant of the kids in Lord of the Flies. "The PIG"!? Coincidence!?!?!?

Yeah... actually it is.

8. Nothing like a hard-hitting dose of reality to remind us what a bucket of fluff she is.
Sarah Palin is the greatest gift McMisfire could have given us. She's an empty vessel, a self-destructing flash-in-the-pan.
