Heads Up: Seven Battleground Polls will be released tomorrow on the Big Ten Network |
|
I mentioned this yesterday but nobody seemed to jump on it. There will be a very informative program airing on the big ten network tomorrow on the states in the big ten. They are doing a series of polls that will debut tomorrow at 3PM on Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, and Illinois, seven of which are major battleground states. We will learn about who is favored in which states and kind of what the demographics look like. I wont be able to watch the special and update DU as to what goes on there, but it should be something interesting for others to watch who have the network, to take a break from the incessant Cable News Bullshit.

5. Charles Franklin of Pollster.com and Ken Goldstein of the Wisconsin Advertising Project |
|
Both Wisconsin professors with solid records, and the latter of which was my professor. Also Political Science professors from the other schools will help out.

Should be helpful in seeing where Minn., MI, OH, Indiana, PA and WI stand. Illinois and Iowa are in the bag.

8. It's not just sports... |
|
It never was intended just to highlight sports...
You know, Penn State, Northwestern, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Minnesota are always in the top fifty schools in the US News and world report ranking of the countries best schools...
When I was at Ohio State, one of my professors teaching an Understanding Foreign Policy was one of the Negotiators for the original SALT treaty.
A lot of brain power in the Big Ten.
Now if they could just find a way to beat the SEC and PAC 10 colleges....
