Rasmussen: Obama 48, McLiar 48 |
|
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Barack Obama gaining ground on John McCain for the third time in four days. The race for the White House is now tied with both candidates attracting 48% of the vote. Just a few days ago, McCain enjoyed a three-percentage point lead Here is the link http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

2. Still moving in the right direction... left that is. |

I wonder if any of the national polls will show a McSame lead today. Well, Zogby probably will. But other than that, I bet we sweep 'em today!

4. How the hell can Rasmussen find that McCain is trusted more than Obama on the economy? |
|
It completely defies common sense and all other polling.

14. the polling on CNN's website |

asking the same question (who do you trust with the economy) has O 66%, M 34%. Rasmussen is full of it.

6. I've noticed that rasmussen tends to lag behind the other polls |
|
After the GOP convention, rasmussen was the last poll to show McCain's bounce, if I'm not mistaken.
It should catch up in a couple of days.

10. Messing with party affiliation |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 09:34 AM by Jake3463
38.7% Democratic, 33.6% Republican, and 27.7% unaffiliated. For the previous week, the targets were 39.7% Democrat, 32.1% Republican, and 28.2% unaffiliated.
A 1% minus from democrats a 1.5% plus for GOP and a .5% deduction from Independent.
All in all that could be 2% difference in polling.

11. Even Rasmussen has to make adjustments once in a while... By the way who really believes |
|
that the race could be 48-48 at this point? That is pushing leaners and GUESSING which way they are leaning. It allows a meager 4% for the yet undecided or Barr or Nader or Green Party voters? Come on, get real, Rasmussen. Stop you extreme pushing and give us some real numbers

13. Rasnmussen is behind the curve it seems |
|
CBS and Gallup are showing Obama is ahead. Doesn't matter, at least it shows Obama moving UP.
