A Week Later, Palin's Disapproval Higher Than Approval
From politicalwire.com =

Gov. Sarah Palin's favorable/unfavorable ratings have suffered a stunning 21 point collapse in just one week, according to Research 2000 polling. Last week, 52% approved and 35% disapproved of the GOP vice presidential nominee (+17 net). This week, 42% approved and 46% disapprove (-4 net).

Earlier this week, Newsweek also saw the drop in other polling. "Over the course of a single weekend... Palin went from being the most popular White House hopeful to the least."

1. If I find a quiet place I bet I can hear her fall.
Hope she makes a big thud when she hits bottom.

34. It is cruel and vicious to wish painful injury on someone
*I* hope when she falls a great distance, that her fall is cushioned by something very soft, thereby allowing her to emerge unharmed

Something like a big pile of this, for example:

6. A 21 point collapse
in a week is almost unheard of.

Forces people to ask, "Hey McCain, learned anything about the economy yet?"

38. Right. No surprise here either
The Republicans were betting that the 15% of Americans who are scared to death of capable, competent people of above-average intellect would rally to Miss Sarah. And they did - for all of 10 days.

They took a helluva gamble with Miss Sarah. And as that idiot Dr. Phil would say "and how's that working out for ya??"

31. Yes, this is a very good example of why common sense strategy > Republican tactics
Seriously, also a good example of a balloon the media inflates only to burst. Plus, this whole disapproval thing is just the rest of the people catching up to US who already knew she was unqualified. At least they're getting quicker on the uptake as the media seems to have gotten a conscience over how much they fucked up in 2000 and 2004 (but I still will never forgive them)-- I'm still pissed about the people who had to wait EIGHT FUCKING YEARS before they realized that Bush was a fucking idiot and there's still around 30% of Americans that are still behind the curve here. And it's most likely that this financial crisis still won't make them realize just what dumb fucks they've been.

40. I agree. It always amazes me how many people will let their ego and false pride get in the way of
being honest about something and saying, "You know what, I fucked up, I was wrong, this bastard is truly dysfunctional and a dumb ass."

That is your 30%.
