1. That's distressing
"Support by party affiliation, among Democrats: Obama 72, McCain 17"

That's distressing...

Trust to handle the economy: Obama 47, McCain 42

That's distressing, too...

3. White assholes
Thankfully, we won't need all of them to come to their senses to win PA.

15. I can't believe how many posters are astonished by these numbers! PA was close in '04, too

Kerry won it by 3-points. But except for one Zogby interactive poll, Obama has led every poll. He will win the state the old fashioned way thru huge gotv in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh while McCain will run up totals in much of the rest of the state. In the end Obama will win.

2. As usual, PA will be close, but for months the only poll that has had McCain up is Zogby Interactive
and everyone knows those polls are garbage.

5. Chuck Todd said the reason it is close in that state is because Obama is only getting 71% of Dems
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 08:32 AM by bigdarryl

6. PA voter
I'm a registered independent voter 56 year old female middle
class RN. No one has ever polled me, and I'm the demographic
they are looking for.Don't believe the polls. In PA I was
unable to vote in the primary because you have to have a party
affiliation.Will vote obama in November!!!

9. Doubtful.
But, hey, let McCain waste his money here.

Did they have a previous poll? Do we know the results?

10. NBC
Remember during the Primarys Obama always overperformed from when any poll associated with NBC said
he would.Remember no poll has had Mccain actully ahead In PA.Biden Is Obama's secret weapon here.
and don't get deperssed on these close polls here.At One time Mccain was actully leading In Michigan
and now It Is slowly moving from a Tossup(slightly lean Obama) to a Likely Obama state.

12. Close, but we'll win it
PA is always rough at this point.

I expect a 3 percentage point victory here. And the polls basically confirm that: we are never behind, and the margin is usually between 2 and 4.

13. Mason-Dixon is notorious among pollster analysts for it's pro-GOP tilt. This is fine.
