Trying to take away someone's vote should be considered an act of Treason. |

Caging votes, sending lies in the mail to scare people away from the polls, or any other way in which someone tries to block another person's vote should honestly be considered one of the worst crimes in this country. A treasonous act in which their most basic right as an American citizen, the most basic building block of a Democracy and this country in particular, is stripped away.
It is just about the most UN-AMERICAN act I can think of and anyone who proclaims to love this country and still engages in it is the worst sort of hypocrite on this planet.
There should be much stronger penalties leveled against anyone found guilty of this garbage.

And the punishment should be a couple years in prison, no less. It is a despicable practice that no true democractic republic should tolerate.

I plan to go to vote early, and I plan to stay for a while afterwards, just to make sure none of the minorities have voting issues....if they do, I will be on the phone to the media.

It should be a felony with jail time for anybody who interferes with a legitimate vote.

If you can get locked up for not paying your taxes - then those responsible should be locked up for taking away a person's vote.

And yet, on this very board, there are people who want to see the former chairman of ES&S "voting" machines (who cheated his way into the Senate) rewarded with a cabinet position in the Obama administration. :wtf:
